CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
---------------------------------------------

Improve the workplace environment

Introduction

There is an increasing recognition that 5S techniques can result in significant waste elimination, taking into account that this waste elimination is the root of savings - to eliminate these wastes constitute gains and benefits.
This has resulted in urgent requirements for companies to equip people with the skills to implement these techniques.
The delegates will leave this course with practical techniques that they can use at once in the workplace because they will learn from actual examples of 5S implementation from leading international companies and the resulting step-change improvements.

Who should attend ?

Any delegates from a company who have an interest in using 5S system and tools in their workplace (production, shop floor and administrative service), especially team leaders and top management positions they should emphasize more on results and should percolate down their understanding and implement the process itself to the workers’ level.

Course objectives

• Provide in depth 5S tools and techniques that help minimize employees concern about their workplace environment.
• Understand how to transfer waste into material process gains, benefits in the work area and savings of time, of money and of space.
• Have a clear picture of the steps required to introduce a 5S programme within your company.
• Maintain these principles once implemented in their workplace.
• Highlight the importance of the role of the Top Management Team ; hence they need to communicate these concepts down to the worker’s level.
• Develop continuous improvement culture within teams in order to develop the best performance spirit and how to reach targets.
